Calling all Sacramento County high school students – applications are now being accepted for our Youth Academy!

The District Attorney Youth Academy is a program in partnership with the Elk Grove Police Department, Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office, Sacramento Police Department, Sacramento County Probation Department and Sacramento County Public Defender’s Office.

Students will have an opportunity to learn about the criminal justice system, hear from our criminal justice partners, and engage in open communication concerning issues that affect youth today. Topics include: gun violence and gangs, social media and cybercrimes, crime scene investigations (CSI), mock trial, human trafficking, dating violence and stalking.

Locations:

Main: City of Elk Grove – District 56, 8230 Civic Center Drive, Elk Grove, CA 95757

TWO classes: Elk Grove Police Department, 8400 Laguna Palms Way, Elk Grove, CA 95758

To apply: Students must submit a completed application.  Applications accepted on a first come, first served basis.
