Senior Victim/Witness Claims Specialist
Under general supervision, this role assists crime victims and witnesses in accessing services and financial reimbursement through the Victim/Witness Assistance Program. Responsibilities include administrative support, guiding team members, processing applications and claims, and performing leadership duties such as task assignment, work review, training, and conducting internal audits to ensure quality standards.
Victim/Witness Claims Specialist
Under general supervision, this role assists crime victims and witnesses in accessing services and securing reimbursement for financial losses due to criminal acts, in line with California’s Victim Compensation and Government Claims Board. The position involves reviewing and authorizing compensation claims for victims of violent crimes according to relevant statutes and regulations.
