Nathan Dim pled to six counts of committing a lewd act upon a child and one count of felon in possession of a firearm.  Dim also admitted to a prior 2019 strike conviction for criminal threats.

Nathan Dim met the then 13-year-old victim at a park when she was walking her dog. He proceeded to communicate with the minor by Snapchat and social media. Dim then committed multiple acts of child sexual assault against the victim on multiple occasions.  He ultimately became violent during the sexual assaults and would not allow her to leave. When Dim was contacted by law enforcement, he had a loaded 9MM hand gun in his front pocket.

Dim faces a maximum sentence of 27 years and 4 months in prison.  Sentencing is set for December 16, 2022, at 9:00 a.m. in Department 62 before Judge Kenneth Brody.
