The Honorable Steven Gevercer sentenced Andrew Young Jr. to 440 years to life in prison.  On May 17, 2018, a jury convicted Young of 7 counts of committing lewd and lascivious acts on a minor under the age of 14, and one count of committing a lewd and lascivious act on a minor under the age of 14 with force. The jury also found true that Young had suffered a prior conviction for committing a lewd and lascivious act on a minor under the age of 14.

The victim was a family member who was between the ages of 12 and 13 when the sexual assaults were occurring.
