Defendant Pleads to Sexually Abusing Child in Multiple Cities

On June 30, 2022, Edwin “Vin” Cuxeva pled guilty to 11 counts of lewd and lascivious acts with a child.
Cuxeva molested the victim when she was 12 to 15 years old and committed the abuse in multiple cities across the state, including Sacramento and Los Angeles. The sexual abuse included multiple acts of sexual intercourse, oral copulation and fondling. During the course of the molests, the victim was impregnated by Cuxeva on multiple times, which resulted in six abortions when the victim was between the ages of 13 and 16 years old.
Cuxeva faces a maximum sentence of 28 years in prison. Sentencing is set for July 29, 2022, at 8:30 a.m. in Department 62.
