Defendant Convicted of Sexually Assaulting 4 Children in Daycare

Miguel Orozco pled to sexual penetration or oral copulation of a child under 10 years of age and multiple counts of lewd and lascivious acts with a child under 14 years of age.
Orozco’s girlfriend was running a daycare out of her apartment. Between 2006 and 2012, Orozco sexually assaulted four children he had access to through his girlfriend’s daycare. Two of the victims were 4 years old when the abuse started, the third victim was 5 years old and the fourth victim was 7 years old.
Orozco faces a maximum sentence of 22 years to life in prison. Sentencing is set for July 13, 2022, at 1:35 p.m. in Department 63 before the Honorable Carlton Davis.
