Previously, Sacramento District Attorney Anne Marie Schubert announced that the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitations (CDCR) was seeking to enact permanent regulations which would result in the early release of thousands of violent offenders and “nonviolent second strikers.”  View Previous Press Release
