The Honorable John Winn sentenced Frank Alcaraz to 30 years in prison. Alcaraz pled to 13 counts of child sexual assault and admitted to the aggravating factor that he took advantage of a position of trust.
Alcaraz sexually assaulted the victim when she was between the ages of 10 and 18 years old, increasing in severity and frequency over the years. Alcaraz showed the victim pornography and sexually abused the victim two to three times per week. When the victim turned 18 years old, she gained the strength to disclose the abuse to her family.
