District Attorney Anne Marie Schubert will host the 21st Annual Public Safety & Community Appreciation Luncheon.

DATE:  Friday ~ October 22, 2021

TIME:  Program starts at 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.

The luncheon is normally held in May and was postponed, allowing for more time in the continued reduction of COVID-19 numbers.  All county COVID-19 health and safety guidelines will be followed to ensure a safe environment for everyone. A Zoom option has also been provided for those who prefer to attend virtually.

This annual event honors those within our community who sacrifice and work to protect the safety and well-being of those in the Sacramento region.  It is also a time to remember our fallen officers and their families for the ultimate sacrifice they have made on behalf of the community.

With attendees across all sectors – including public safety, public and elected officials, community and faith-based leaders, educators, health care providers, business professionals and individual citizens – this is truly a community-wide unifying event.

This year’s theme “Voices for Victims. Voices for Justice. Justice for All.” will recognize victims of crime and ensure that they are not forgotten by the criminal justice system, legislators, public officials, the media or the community.

DA Schubert will serve as moderator of a panel of representatives who have their own personal experience with the criminal justice system and have demonstrated a steadfast commitment to achieving justice for themselves or a loved one. This year’s panelists are Voices for Victims Coalition members Rhonda Campbell, Dr. Nicole Clavo, Keith and Tamra Dobson and Melissa Oliver Storz.

The event is now closed, but will be livestreamed at https://youtu.be/A4Rfs-hcBSk.
