CASE: Dameshlo Green (Case #14F03237)

Dameshlo Green was convicted by a jury for the first-degree murder of Tamisha Ridge and being a felon in possession of a firearm.  The jury also found true a use of firearm allegation.

Green and the victim had and on and off relationship for more than 10 years.  After 5 years of no contact, they resumed their relationship until the victim broke up with Green a few months later.  On May 14, 2014, Green entered the victim’s residence, went into her bedroom and shot her in the head with a shotgun.

The allegation that Green suffered a prior 2011 assault with a deadly weapon strike conviction will be determined at sentencing.

Green faces a maximum sentence of 50 years to life in prison.  Sentencing is set for March 27, 2018 in Department 41 before the Honorable Helena Gweon.
