District Attorney Jan Scully today announced that on Tuesday, December 6,
2005, representatives from the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department
provided the District Attorney’s Office with some information about the
uprising incident that occurred at the Main Jail on December 1, 2005.
Sheriff personnel indicated to us at that time that they have more
information to provide relevant to this incident.
The District Attorney’s Office is not in a position to make any
determinations about the incident until we have received and reviewed all
pertinent information. We cannot determine our next step until this process
is complete.
