District Attorney Jan Scully announced today that a multigenerational
molester, whose name is being withheld to protect the identity of his
victims, pled guilty to a term in state prison of 51 years 4 months on
multiple counts of Lewd Act on a Child Under 14 Years and Lewd Act on a
Child Over the Age of 14 Years. In addition, he waived all appeal rights and
agreed to have no contact with the victims in the case.
The defendant was accused of a multigenerational molest of his son and
daughter and his grandchildren. The acts of molest began when his own
children were five and six years old. The acts included oral copulation,
digital penetration, masturbation, sodomy, and vaginal intercourse between
the defendant and his children. The defendant also orchestrated sex acts
between his biological children and their minor cousins. This case came to
light when the very young grandchildren of the defendant disclosed
disturbing sexual knowledge and it was discovered they had been molested by
him as well.
Deputy District Attorney Nancy Cochrane stated, “These victims have grown up
in a twisted, perverted environment controlled by the defendant. He has
stolen their childhood and has done everything contrary to what we as a
community would hope a loving and nurturing father and grandfather would do.
With this plea the defendant will never hurt another trusting child again as
he will spend the rest of his life in prison.”
