SAFENIGHT SACRAMENTO 2003 Teens
will be having a fun party in a safe place at Waterworld USA Friday,
June 20th, from 4 pm to 9 p.m.
The event's rules are
simple: no weapons, no drugs or alcohol and no arguments. Lots of fun
activities are planned in addition to the water slides. Various interactive
educational booths designed to teach teens about such things as the
dangers of drugs and alcohol, fire safety, automobile, bicycle and boating
safety, electrical safety and the blight that graffiti presents in our
community will be present. Free hot dogs have been donated for teens.
Many donated prizes including gift certificates to local malls, movie
theaters and restaurants will be awarded to youths who participate in
the educational opportunities.
Tickets may be purchased
beforehand for $5 at Arden Fair Mall, Florin Mall, the North Area Teen
Center, or at Waterworld USA the day of the event. Free RT tickets to
and from Waterworld USA for this one night event will be available where
tickets are sold.
Past SAFENIGHT events
have been a success. Please help us to surpass that success at Sacramento
SAFENIGHT 2003 by joining us at the Press Conference and getting the
word out about this fun, safe and educational event.
