Judge Richard Gilmour
sentenced Terrance James Landry today to a term of 38 years to life
for forcible sexual assaults committed in April 2001. A jury convicted
Landry on April 18, 2002 of sexually assaulting victims who were working
as prostitutes in South Sacramento. On April 16, 2001, he committed
the crimes of forcible oral copulation and assault with intent to commit
sodomy on the first victim. On April 28, 2001, Landry committed
further acts of forcible sodomy and oral copulation on a second victim.
The cases were investigated
by the Sacramento Police Department.
