The Honorable Kenneth Peterson, Presiding Judge of the Sacramento Juvenile Court, has granted the District Attorney's motion to try 17 year old Joaquin Ramirez as an adult for the October 27, 2000 armed robbery of the KB Toy Store at 7617 Laguna Boulevard in Elk Grove.

Joaquin Ramirez, along with his accomplice, had entered the open toy store business, displayed a handgun in his waistband and then proceeded to remove two video game stations and exit the business without paying for the items.
