The Honorable Steve White sentenced Miguel Ramirez to 25 years, 4 months in prison. On April 8, 2016, a jury convicted Ramirez of 12 counts of sexual assault including continuous sexual abuse, committing lewd acts upon a child, unlawful sexual intercourse with a victim more than three years younger, oral copulation of a person under 18, and attempt to commit sodomy with a person under 18.
Ramirez molested a friend’s daughter starting from when she was 13 years old until she was 16 years old. The victim’s mother discovered the abuse when she returned home unexpectedly.
