CASE: Gregory Wyrick
PROSECUTOR: Deputy District Attorney Maria Wilson, Special Assault & Child Abuse Unit
Thirty-five-year-old Gregory Wyrick was convicted by jury of six counts of sexual intercourse and/or sodomy with a child under 10 years old and six counts of committing lewd and lascivious acts on a child under 14 years old. The jury also found true a multiple victim enhancement.
From 2012 to 2013, Wyrick molested two victims multiple times when they were staying at his house. The victims were 5 and 7 years old at the time.
Wyrick faces a maximum potential sentence of 150 years to life in prison. Sentencing is set for October 9, 2015, in Department 33 before the Honorable Michael Savage.
This case was investigated by the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department.
