District Attorney Anne Marie Schubert encourages Sacramento County residents to attend a National Night Out (NNO) neighborhood event to help send a unified message that neighborhoods are working together to stop crime.
NNO is a once-a-year opportunity for citizens, members of public safety, civic groups, businesses, neighborhood organizations and local officials to come together in solidarity and celebration of community safety.
Neighborhoods throughout Sacramento County will host parties with a wide range of family friendly activities, including barbeques, ice cream socials and pool parties. Not only is NNO a fun night for all, it heightens awareness about crime prevention and generates community support and participation in local anti-crime efforts.
Representatives from the Sacramento County District Attorney’s Office, including District Attorney Anne Marie Schubert, will also join law enforcement agencies and community members in activities across the region.
For more information about neighborhood events, please contact your local law enforcement agency, homeowner or neighborhood association.
