CASE: Marquis Marshall & Clifford Roberson
PROSECUTOR: Deputy District Attorney Kristen Ilharreguy, Targeting Armed Recidivist Gang Enforcement Team (TARGET)
District Attorney Anne Marie Schubert announced that the Honorable Ben Davidian sentenced Marquis Marshall to 16 years in prison and Clifford Roberson to 10 years, 4 months in prison. On June 9, 2015, Marshall and Roberson pled no contest to assault with a semi-automatic firearm. Both defendants are Strawberry Manor Gangster Blood members.
On May 27, 2014, the victim was seated in his vehicle at a 7-11 when multiple shots were fired at him. The victim ducked into his vehicle and was able to avoid being struck. The shooters fled the scene, but were stopped in the area a short time later. A search of their vehicle revealed a firearm, which was later found to match the shell casings left at the scene of the shooting.
