PROSECUTOR: Deputy District Attorney Maria Wilson, Domestic Violence Unit
District Attorney Anne Marie Schubert announced that the Honorable Robert Twiss sentenced James Coker to 25 years in state prison.
On February 11, 2015, a jury convicted Coker of three counts of assault with a deadly weapon; inflicting domestic abuse and the allegation of inflicting great bodily injury in the commission of that crime; and making a criminal threat and the allegation of using a knife in the commission of that crime.
Coker used a bat, hammer and knife in his assaults against two female victims.
