CASE: Hernani Ramos
PROSECUTOR: Deputy District Attorney Monica Robinson, Special Assault & Child Abuse Unit
Sixty-year-old Hernani Ramos was convicted by jury of 10 counts of committing lewd acts on a child under the age of 14 years old.
From 2005 to 2010, Ramos molested a female family member when she was 6 six years old. The abuse continued until she was 10 ten years old. Ramos would assault her during family parties, taking her to a private area in the home where he would molest her.
Ramos faces a potential sentence of 26 years in prison. Sentencing is set for January 8, 2016, in Department 38 before the Honorable Sharon Lueras.
