CASE: Felicia Wills
PROSECUTOR: Deputy District Attorney Jennifer Kennedy, Major Narcotics Unit
The Honorable Sharon Lueras sentenced 28-year-old Felicia Wills to 6 years in prison. On August 31, 2015, Wills pled no contest to the transportation of methamphetamine for sale between noncontiguous counties with a weight enhancement, and child endangerment.
On April 9, 2014, Sacramento County sheriff’s detectives observed Wills driving northbound on Interstate 5 at 75mph. Following a traffic stop of the vehicle, detectives located more than 6.5 kilograms of methamphetamine and $23,000. Following her arrest, detectives responded to Wills’ apartment where her two minor children resided. A search of her bedroom revealed a locked safe, which contained scales and plastic baggies with white residue. Her cell phone contained narcotic related text messages.
