PROSECUTOR: Deputy District Attorney Maria Wilson, Special Assault & Child Abuse Unit
The Honorable Michael Savage sentenced 35-year-old Gregory Wyrick to 150 years to life in prison. On September 11, 2015, a jury convicted Wyrick of six counts of sexual intercourse and/or sodomy with a child under 10 years old and six counts of committing lewd and lascivious acts on a child under 14 years old. The jury also found true a multiple victim enhancement.
From 2012 to 2013, Wyrick molested two victims multiple times when they were staying at his house. The victims were 5 and 7 years old at the time.
This case was investigated by the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department.
