Child Sex Offender Sentenced to Life for Molesting Family Members

PROSECUTOR:  Deputy District Attorney Nancy Cochrane, Special Assault & Child Abuse Unit

The Honorable Steve White sentenced 34-year-old Cherfapu Tony Vue to 102 years to life in prison.  On July 23, 2015, a jury convicted Vue of 10 counts of committing lewd and sexual acts on a child.

From June 2007 to December 2010, Vue molested two family members when they were 10 years old or younger.  One victim was 4 years old when the assaults began, the other was 9 years old. 

This case was investigated by the Sacramento Police Department.
