Our Mission: To Educate Our Youth About the Medical and Legal Consequences of Gun Violence

 

Education is the key to prevention. GIFT: Sacramento works to prevent youth gun violence by educating students about the legal, medical, and emotional consequences of youth gun possession and related gun violence, as well as encouraging young people to consider options and choices available to them in situations involving guns.

GIFT is a partnership between several Sacramento-area organizations, including the Sacramento County District Attorney, Sacramento County Sherriff, Sacramento City Police, Grant Police Department, Sacramento City Fire Department and the Sacramento Metropolitan Fire Department and American Medical Response.
