The Domestic Violence Unit is a multidisciplinary team of attorneys, advocates, investigators, and support staff who prosecute domestic violence cases in Sacramento County. Prosecuted cases involve physical abuse, sexual abuse, stalking, and threat management. Department 60 is the Domestic Violence Home Court; this is where the prosecution of domestic violence cases begins.
